To kick off our First Nations Month at rare, John MacDonald, our resident Archaeologist will conduct a slideshow about First Nations people at rare.  From the time that glaciers and the melt waters receded from this region, people have lived here for millennia. Over 70 archaeological sites have been recorded on the rare lands, spanning a time range of 9500 years. We will review the various cultures, ways of living, and changes in technology, from the first peoples who arrived here to the first European settler.
Cost:  $8.00 ($3.00 for rare Event Card holders)
