At rare we believe in Every Child Outdoors.
All children should be given every opportunity possible and we feel it is important to help kids become environmental stewards of the natural world around them. To form a bond with nature and to ‘be’ in nature provides so many benefits to all of us, and especially young people.

To fulfill our vision of Every Child Outdoors, we need your help Opening the Door to Environmental Education. A heritage 1840s limestone Slit Barn and its companion farmhouse will be transformed into the rare ECO Centre, the future home of our education and public programs, and a new community venue. But first, we need to renovate to ensure it is a safe, suitable, year-round facility that can accommodate the thousands of annual visitors to rare.

We need the community’s help – we need your help. Please give and help us raise the funds needed to complete this transformation.
